Overview of the Alante Sport
Golden Tech's Alante Sport is a high-quality indoor power chair. It has 9" drive wheels that are non-marking on high-strength steel rims with shiny hubcaps. It also has a black and red shroud design that is stylish and functional because it protects the motor and batteries. The Alante Sport also comes with a lap belt for safety and an adjustable footplate and width adjustable armrests.
What Makes This Different
The size of the Alante Sport is great for indoor use, whether you need it for in your home or going out to appointments and shopping. It has an 18" wide and 18" deep captain's seat that is height adjustable and comfortable for all day use. And, with an overall width of just 22" this chair will fit through narrow doorways and aisles with ease.
Why We Like It
We like the Alante Sport for its value and durability. It comes standard with a high-back Captain's seat and large 4" anti-tipper wheels for added safety. A one-year in-home service contract is also standard.
What You Need to Know When Ordering
The Golden Tech Alante Sport comes standard with a one-year in-home service contract. This service contract pays for a technician to come to your home in the event of an issue and he will assess and later repair your chair, free of charge. For added peace of mind, consider upgrading to the two- or three-year service plan. Also, the Compass HD is delivered via a freight company by a Curbside delivery service. The freight company will call and schedule a delivery time and bring the box to your home, but they will not bring it into your home. And, if you have any stairs leading to your door, they will leave the box at the base of the stairs. If you need additional service, consider the White Glove delivery option. This service will deliver your chair to a trained agent in your area and your chair will be unpacked and inspected for damage. The agent will then call to schedule a delivery time and bring the chair to you, in your home. Though our White Glove Delivery option includes the set-up of your power chair, comfort adjustments, like foot rest height, will need to be done by the caregiver or user.
